Is Zcash traceable?

Transparent ZEC (t-addresses) is fully traceable, like Bitcoin. Shielded ZEC is not: shielded-to-shielded transfers reveal no amounts, no addresses, and no graph. What remains public are the pool boundaries — shielding, deshielding, and turnstile migrations — plus each pool's total balance. Users can also voluntarily share viewing keys for selective disclosure.
